We have learned that using the most reliable and user-friendly
equipment in our industry is key to developing long term
relationships with our customers. Our customers use our
equipment daily and depend on receiving the products purchased
on a consistent basis. The equipment manufacturers we
have established relationships with are the best in the
industry.
Our snack and cold food machines have a patented
vend-sensing system that detects when products fall into the
delivery bin. Basically, a plane of infra-red light is
created across the top of the delivery bin, and the system can
detect when any part of the light has been blocked by a
passing product. Using this technology, the machine
“knows” when the product has been delivered. This system
has several important benefits:
- Guaranteed Delivery
If, after one revolution, the product hangs up or an opening
was missed in loading, the coil will rotate three separate
half-revolutions to make sure the product is delivered.
No more hitting or shaking the machine to get products that
did not fall!
- Instant Refund
If the customer does not receive a product, he/she can
select another item or receive a full refund by pressing the
coin return button. No more refund requests!
Our soda machines have similar technology. A motion
sensor in the delivery chute allows the machine to "know" when
the product has been received. Again, the same
Guaranteed Delivery and Instant Refund features are available
on our soda machines. If the product is not delivered,
the machine attempts to vend the item several more times.
If the customer does not receive a product, he/she can make an
alternate selection or receive a full refund by pressing the
coin return button.
Additionally, our vending machines accept one and five
dollar bills. They also dispense dollar coins, when
necessary, to reduce the number of coins a customer receives
when he/she purchases an item with a five dollar bill.
No one wants a huge handful of dimes, nickels and quarters!
We also use the best bill acceptors and coin mechanisms in
our machines. Bill acceptors are usually the largest
single point of failure in a vending machine. An old,
torn or wet bill will often cause a jam in cheaper models, but
our bill acceptors will accept these bills without any
problems.
Our machines cost much more than the
standard older, reconditioned machines that most other vendors
use, but they save us money in the long run with greatly
reduced service related issues, machine down time, customer
dissatisfaction, etc.
